Founding Board

Taihg McCabe is a student at NMAMA, serving on multiple boards, including a few neighborhood associations, and Indivisible Albuquerque. He has worked on multiple projects with the school and is excited to work on writing a history of the school.

Cathryn McGill is the founder of the NM Black Leadership Council and sees potential in creating internships with students at the school.

Dominique Macalinao is the project management and training officer at the NM Black Leadership Council with an interest in community work.

Liz Fritzsche is a former art teacher throughout many Albuquerque schools, and a ceramist. She is interested in the school.

Nicole Appelman was introduced to the school through her mother, Carolyn Carlson, NMAMA Governing Council Board President. She has an interest in the community.

Anthony Conforti joined the school after 30 years of working in the film industry, initially as a consultant, soon becoming the film and media instructor at the school.

Glenna Voigt is the founding Principal of the school and is excited to be on the board.

Davetta Wells is a parent of a former NMAMA student and finds value in public charter schools, leading her to the Foundation.
